Job Duration: 12 months contract with a possibility to extend or to go permanent!

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Job Description:

As a Cloud Security Analyst, you will enhance the security posture of our company’s manufacturing infrastructure across onsite, third-party, and cloud environments. Your role includes:

• Enhancing security measures in manufacturing infrastructure both on-site and in the cloud.
• Collaborating with partners to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
• Analyzing and investigating security alerts or breaches to pinpoint the root cause.
• Monitoring identity and access management to prevent permission abuse.
• Fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Working closely with skilled engineers to build, scale, deploy, and maintain secure infrastructure and services.
• Verifying the security of third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with security requirements.
• Providing operational support for security-related requests.

Job Requirements:

• A technical degree at the Bachelor’s level or equivalent industry experience.
• Deep understanding of internet security issues, the threat landscape, firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in large production environments, specifically in:
• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and security hardening of Linux or Windows/AD systems.
• Using configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
• Working with AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with security tools such as Wazuh, MDE, Osquery, Sysmon, Wireshark, Zeek, and Suricata.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals and common network services.
• Experience in analyzing network and host security logs to resolve security issues.
• Applied cryptography including PKI, SSL, and key management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
