Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Summary:  

We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in a fully remote position. The Business Intelligence Analyst creates and manages Power BI reports and dashboards, gathers user requirements, and prepares data for analysis. This position supports data warehousing efforts and provides comprehensive reporting solutions to users throughout the organization.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: 

• Develop, maintain, and manage reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their business needs.
• Prepare and transform data from various sources to ensure it is ready for analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide training and support to users on Power BI tools and reports.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and tools.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge: 

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience preferred
• 2-5 years of proven experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Experience in data preparation for visualization and analysis.
• Strong data visualization skills with Power BI.
• Proficiency in data preparation and transformation using SQL, Python, Spark, Power Query, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements
