We are seeking an experienced Senior Shopify (Plus) Front-End Developer responsible for implementing custom themes and solutions, optimizing the user interface and experience, developing, enhancing, and maintaining our Shopify (Plus) stores. The role involves close collaboration with our design and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, a keen eye for detail and design, a passion for clean code, and a deep understanding of the Shopify (Plus) platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Theme Development & Customization: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes to align with brand aesthetics and business goals using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Responsive Design: Ensure the online store is fully responsive and provides a seamless experience across all devices and browsers.
• UI/UX Optimization: Collaborate with designers and other team members to optimize the user interface and user experience.
• Integration & API: Integrate third-party apps and APIs to extend the functionality of the Shopify store.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the website for speed and performance to enhance user experience and SEO; ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to front-end development and provide support for technical challenges.
• Best Practices & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest eCommerce trends and best practices to implement innovative solutions.
• Maintenance: Maintain and update existing Shopify themes and templates.
• Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B testing and optimize the website based on user feedback and analytics.
• Project Implementation: Assist in the search, management, and supervision of freelancers and/or agencies to support larger projects when needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify (Plus) projects (at least 2+ years)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid, understanding Shopify’s API, and apps.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
• Experience using Node.js and MySQL.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Nonstandard Shopify integration experience based on Shopify's GraphQL/REST API.
• Knowledge of Front-End technologies (pure JavaScript and TypeScript).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for e-commerce.
• Basic understanding of server-side languages and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, ability to translate design mockups into functional web pages, experience with tools like Figma.
• Background in Azure Cloud (Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, Azure Service Bus) or any other cloud - advantage.
• Understanding of PIM/ERP systems and experience with integrations in Shopify - advantage.
• Understanding of eCommerce best practices, analytics and conversion rate optimization.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Self-management and leadership skills.
