Kotlin/Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking Kotlin/Java developers to join our team, working with a leading FinTech client to develop innovative AI solutions. Our client is building a GenAI Developer Assistant—an end-to-end GenAI-driven SDLC assistant framework. This platform leverages advanced GenAI technologies to accelerate product development and deployment, fostering innovation and delivering services to customers swiftly.

Location: Chennai/Bangalore (India)

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize backend systems and services using Kotlin and Java, ensuring seamless integration within the AI-driven SDLC framework.

Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions for IntelliJ IDE plugin development, enhancing developer productivity and experience.

Integrate and test AI-driven features, leveraging tools like OpenAI and Gemini, to enable intelligent code suggestions and automation within IDEs.

Maintain and enhance system performance, debug complex issues, and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and best practices.

Requirements

Tools and Technologies:

Must-Have:

Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin for backend and application development.

Expertise in using IntelliJ as the primary IDE. Knowledge of other IDEs such as VS Code and PyCharm is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL).

Good-to-Have:

Familiarity with AI workflows or implementing AI-driven features using tools like OpenAI, Gemini, etc.

Basic understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models) and their integration in backend systems.

Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Exposure to messaging queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
