Mobile Testing - IOS, API, Rest/GraphQL

Role Description

Test Delivery: Responsible for the delivery of testing within the Engineering Squad.
Stakeholder Communication: Contribute to show & tell sessions to communicate with stakeholders.
Test Automation Contribution: Ability to contribute hands-on to test automation, focusing on best practices, scripting, and execution. Alternatively, have a development plan in place to acquire this ability.
Manual Testing: Perform manual test scripting and execution when required.
All Levels of Testing: Execute all types of testing including front end, back end, API/integration, and regression testing.
Defect Management: Detect, report, and track defects and inconsistencies.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to support estimation and other necessary activities.

Skills:

Collaboration in Engineering Squad: Comfortable working with Software & Quality Engineers to drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
Quality Advocacy: Be the voice of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Stakeholder Relationship: Build strong rapport with business stakeholders to understand the priority and criticality of test coverage.
Requirement Breakdown: Able to understand and break down requirements to determine the necessary testing types.
Automation Lifecycle Understanding: Understand the automation lifecycle for your area of work, including applying best practices across unit testing, contract/integration testing, and end-to-end automated tests.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Comfortable with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a testing environment.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience of at least 3+ years as an iOS QA Engineer.
API Debugging: Experience in debugging REST and GraphQL using proxy tools.
Test Management: Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Quality Assurance Knowledge: Solid understanding of Quality Assurance within Agile methodologies.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Communication & Leadership: Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Innovation in QA: Demonstrated ability to bring innovative ideas into the mobile apps division, positively changing the QA process.
Cross-Platform Testing: Experience in testing both Android and iOS native apps.
