Job Description

As a Cloudinfra Devops Lead at HDFC Securities, you will be pivotal in driving our cloud infrastructure's design, implementation, and optimisation. You will lead a team of talented cloud engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud-based services' scalability, reliability, and security. This hands-on leadership role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership :

• Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  
  

Cloud Architecture And Design

• Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
• Collaborate with architects and other teams to design scalable, secure, cost-effective cloud solutions.
  
  

Drive Adoption Of Infrastructure As Code (IaC)

• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code principles to automate and standardise the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  
  

Cloud Implementation

• Design, build and manage the cloud infrastructure architecture on AWS
• Lead the deployment and configuration of cloud services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Implement best practices for resource tagging, monitoring, and cost optimisation.
  
  

Operational Support & Management

• Own and maintain operational procedures for onboarding and managing cloud platforms to meet defined SLAs
• Provide advanced system administration, active support and problem resolution for a large complex cloud computing environment on the AWS platform
• Manage and operate end-to-end lifecycle operations for production and test environments
  
  

Security And Compliance

• Work closely with the security team to ensure cloud environments meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Implement and oversee security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  
  

Performance Optimization

• Monitor and analyse cloud infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for optimisation.
• Implement strategies to improve scalability and resource utilisation.
  
  

Disaster Recovery And Business Continuity

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity during system failures or disasters.
• Ensure business uptime of Platform Infrastructure.
  
  

Vendor Management

• Evaluate and manage relationships with cloud service providers, optimising costs and leveraging new services and features.
• Reviewing and defining SLA with various vendors, Managing and tracking of defined SLAs
  
  

Qualifications, Experience & Expertise

• BE/B Tech/MCA from Tier II Engineering College with above-average academic grades
• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / AWS Solution Architect certification will be preferred.
• A total of 10-15 years of experience in IT with at least 3-5 years of cloud engineering and operations experience in a high-tech environment
• Experience in container orchestration technologies - Red Hat Open Shift, Docker, Kubernetes
• Expert in EKS, Kubernetes service mapping, configuration, monitoring setup & provide administration
• Experience in working with DevOps tools chain - Gitlab, Jenkins, Terraform
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana & ELK
• Experience in scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
• Knowledge in Lambda, Cloud function, Cloud SQL, Big Query, Redis
