• An experienced manager within teams developing analogue and digital measurement circuit technology.
• You can manage and demonstrate best practice and empower HW/FW team to develop state-of-the-art measurement techniques within low power signal condition and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

With reference to our Head of R&D, you will manage a young and agile HW/FW designer team of 15+ engineers located in Rønde & Roskilde and future Engineering hubs abroad.

Ensure implementation of the product development strategy.

Ensure active R&D projects are continuously quality assured though PR knowledge base consisting of design guides, standard specifications, technology whitepapers, document and design templates, project team resources etc.

• Establish clear competence mapping of department and engineering partners.
• Create credible product roadmap on existing incremental R&D projects.
• Sharpen toolbox and process discipline/maturity.

Development of state-of-the-art signal processing devices for medium to high volume business

Collaborate with your colleagues, in potential global set-up, developing innovative solutions.

Qualifications

You have at least 5 years of experience as a tech manager, and have documented experience with major part of below listed disciplines:

• Managing teams developing embedded HW/FW.
• Low power precision analogue and digital I/O - circuit design.
• Full signal chain analysis (ADC/uP/DAC): transfer function, linearity, noise, stability
• Advanced filter design: Analog, digital, active, passive, switched, adaptive.
• Design experience with high precision measurement techniques: nA, nV, mΩ, nHz to MHz
• Design experience with temperature measurements: RTD, TC, IR.
• Analog to Digital Interface algorithms
• Simula on experience with: PSpice, Simulink or similar.
• Capable of building mathematical twin based on electro-physical modelling.
• Capable of building simulation and digital twin.
• Capable of, and experience with, design for cost, testing and manufacturing.
• Experience with EMC- & environment design according to e.g.: IEC61326, 61000, DnV & Namur.

It will be an advantage to have insight and experience on following topics:

• Experience with Signal conditioning in instrumentation; process, marine, automation or similar.
• Low power (<10W) AC/DC Power supply designs: SM, boost-, buck converters, among others.
• Intrinsically safe circuit design to comply with ATEX and IECEx directive.
• Functional Safety design according to IEC61508 edition 2.
• Author or co-author on one or more patens.
