About the role:

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join the AI Development team within the Performance Capability Department. The aim of the AI Development team is to provide best-in-class AI technologies and models to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

The Machine Learning Engineer is a position tasked with creating and sustaining AI applications within the AI development team. This role will involve collaboration with fellow engineers and engagement with various departments and will report to the Head of Performance Software Applications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implement machine learning frameworks and libraries for diverse applications.
  • Conduct experiments and evaluations to enhance and validate AI algorithms.
  • Develop, train, and validate AI models to address complex technical challenges.
  • Create and oversee tools for the lifecycle and integration of AI models.
  • Implement data analysis and pre-processing techniques to enhance data comprehension and model performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate and deploy the developed models.

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong desire to create best in class AI models in a motorsport environment, aligning personal skills and interests with business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A Master or PhD degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, data science, or a related scientific field.
  • A solid foundation in statistics, data science, linear algebra, machine learning algorithms, and optimization.
  • Extensive knowledge of Python libraries and frameworks pertinent to AI development.
  • Practical experience with software development methodologies.
