Software Engineering Manager, Time Management

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience working as a software engineer on front-end platforms.
• Experience managing teams with excellent communication skills, and ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers working on time management features, both in Google Calendar and on other Google Workspace products.
• Be responsible for managing the engineers on the team, helping them grow professionally and deliver value.
• Work with cross-functional partners on setting goals and timelines for the group, using your engineering expertise to inform the strategy.
