Junior NOC and Network Design Engineer

We are looking for a Telecommunication engineer or student looking for diploma work to strengthen Teleste Advanced Network Services team in Turku, Finland.

As a Service NOC and network design engineer your main task will be maintaining cable TV systems from network operation center. Cable TV networks are maintained with several remotely operated tools. As a network design engineer your tasks are FttH or cable TV network planning and documentation.

What We Expect From You

The position requires good communication and team working skills, as well as knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• A preferred education is Telecommunication or ICT
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line skills
• Basic knowledge of IP network
• Capability to understand complex systems
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and basic English skills
• Interest in working directly with customers
• Willingness to shiftwork
