Senior Android Developer

Ardanis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mobile App Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications for our payment platform. You will work closely with a talented team of developers, designers, and product managers to create seamless and engaging mobile experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Lead the full development lifecycle of Android applications, from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable Android applications following best practices
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold high coding standards
• Optimize app performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compatibility across Android devices and OS versions
• Stay up to date with mobile development trends and incorporate relevant innovations
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of professional Android development experience, with published apps on Google Play Store
• Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Deep understanding of Android UI/UX principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Experience integrating third-party libraries, APIs, and external services
• Strong knowledge of mobile performance optimization, memory management, and security
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Candidates must be based in Portugal, Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain or Brazil.
