Cross-Platform Frontend Engineer

Our client, a forward-thinking technology company at the forefront of IPTV/OTT innovation, is seeking a Frontend Engineer to design and develop modern, responsive applications across multiple platforms. This role presents a unique opportunity for a skilled frontend developer to contribute to next-generation digital experiences, optimizing performance and user engagement across web browsers, smart TVs (Tizen, WebOS, Android TV, etc.), and set-top boxes.

The Role

As a key member of the development team, the Web Developer will:

• Engineer high-performance, responsive web applications for diverse platforms.
• Develop and optimize sophisticated user interfaces for seamless customer experiences.
• Leverage modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js) to build scalable solutions.
• Integrate REST APIs to enhance application functionality and efficiency.
• Drive cross-platform testing and optimization to ensure peak performance.

The Person

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven expertise in web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive UI design.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and a deep understanding of static typing benefits.
• Proficiency in Vue.js (Composition API, reactivity) or equivalent frameworks (React, Angular).
• A solid grasp of REST API communication and backend integration.
• Hands-on experience optimizing applications for cross-device performance and compatibility.
• Version control proficiency (Git: branching, pull requests, code review).

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in advanced frontend tools such as Vite, Webpack.
• Deep knowledge of the Vue 3 ecosystem, including:
• State management (Vuex, Pinia),
• Server-side rendering (Nuxt.js),
• Component-based architecture for scalable development.
• Advanced CSS techniques to enhance UI aesthetics.
