React Native Developer (Bucharest, RO)

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate is proficient in Frontend application coding, with a proven experience in REACT Native development. His primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining the code, writing unit tests and proposing technical solutions for implementing new functionalities in Digital area. Needs to be team oriented and easily collaborate with other developers, system analysts, architects, quality assurance and Devops engineers in order to deliver and maintain new features to the product.

What you will do:

• Build customer-facing UIs;
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code;
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications;
• Implementation of security and data protection;
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments;
• Understanding and applying fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Comfortable with working with both internally hosted infrastructures, but also with cloud based solutions;
• Understand the functional and technical specifications, which will be further used to transform application prototypes into high quality software products;
• Understand the Business objectives and keep end customer experience as a primary goal in designing the solutions with respect also on architectural and coding principles;
• Document enhancements made and system changes;
• Troubleshooting in the area of responsibility in order to find and fix the encountered issues;
• Embrace the Agile way of working mindset;
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements and technologies:

• 3+ years developing web applications with support for desktop and mobile;
• Knowledge of React Native;
• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX;
• Bootstrap and/or Material;
• CSS and CSS preprocessing language (like SASS, Less or Stylus);
• Experience consuming RESTful services;
• Knowledge of Micro services Architecture;
• Enhanced knowledge of the software lifecycle (development, build, test, integration etc.);
• Familiar with Kubernetes;
• Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and versioning systems (SVN/Git);
• Automated tests;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology;
