IT Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English, have extensive experience managing virtual teams, and be adept at coordinating with professional clients. This role requires adherence to PMI standards to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans aligned with PMI standards, ensuring timely and budgeted delivery.
• Lead and manage virtual teams across different time zones, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment (SMEs, System Architects, Lead Software Engineers, Consultants, and QA Engineers).
• Efficiently allocate resources to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify needs and set priorities congruent with project goals.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on outcomes.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client requirements and organizational goals.
• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate project performance to senior management and clients.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders, securing buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate, influence, persuade, and lead by example, promoting the company's core values.
• Ensure projects adhere to legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and standards.

IT & Technical Oversight

• Ensure the continuity and operational effectiveness of projects.
• Understand the interdependencies of IT services (applications, systems, networks, and databases) to improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure all security procedures are executed correctly to comply with security policies and standards.
• Conduct application systems audits and performance reviews, making recommendations for improvements.
• Direct and oversee systems architecture and solutions development.

Financial Accountabilities

• Ensure uptime of applications as per contractual terms to avoid penalties.
• Meet budget targets for change requests and new services.
• Manage projects’ profit and loss effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English (required).
• Experience:
• Minimum 12 years in IT project management and operations.
• Proven track record in managing mid-to-large scale projects (>$2 million).
• Certifications:
• PMP or equivalent certification (highly desirable).
• Experience in a CMMI environment is preferred.
• Proven experience with ITIL framework and IT service management.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to coordinate with clients and manage expectations effectively.
