Back End Developer

Revival Talent Solutions has partnered with a rapidly growing SaaS company that is using AI to enhance how businesses capture and act on customer insights. Their platform processes large volumes of customer interactions daily, applying AI-driven workflows to extract key insights and automate tasks. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and optimize their core infrastructure.

This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC, offering an opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges while contributing to the growth of an innovative AI-powered product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using modern programming languages
• Deploy and manage microservices using containerization and orchestration tools
• Design and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and performance
• Build and improve APIs to support seamless integration across the platform
• Work closely with AI teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments
• Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure system reliability
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience in a product-focused environment
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools (must-have)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Google Cloud
• Proficiency in modern backend languages, with a preference for TypeScript and Node.js (experience in Python or Go is acceptable if willing to transition)
• Experience building and maintaining systems that scale with increasing user demand
• Strong understanding of database management and API design
• Background in working within collaborative, fast-paced engineering teams
