Role Purpose:

The Emerging Products Senior Product Developer is responsible for driving innovation and the development of new products within Omantel. They identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities to bring high-value products to market. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization to ensure successful product lifecycle management. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining product quality, performance, and profitability.

Qualification: Bachelor in relevant field

Experience: 6 Years

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage the budget and costs associated with product development projects.
• Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive product development and launch.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and future developments.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of the product development process.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Track product performance metrics post-launch and take corrective actions as needed.
• Drive the development and innovation of new products that align with market trends and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with company goals and market demands.
• Plan and execute updates and enhancements for existing products based on market feedback and technological advancements.
• Lead product development projects from conception through to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential risks in the product development process and develop mitigation strategies.
• Engage with key stakeholders to communicate product vision, progress, and performance.
• Provide training and support to marketing, sales, and customer service teams on new product features and benefits.
