Purpose Of The Job

We are looking for a skilled Security Software Engineer to join a team, contributing to the design, development, and testing of Cisco Security products across network, endpoint, and cloud security portfolios. This role requires deep expertise in security protocols, strong programming skills, and a solid understanding of industry trends in cybersecurity.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test Cisco Security products, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Work with security protocols across L4-L7, including TCP/UDP, SSL, HTTP, FTP, Telnet, SMTP, and DNS.

Develop high-quality code using C/C++, Python, and shell scripting for security applications.

Stay updated on network, endpoint, and cloud security trends, ensuring the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security solutions and address emerging threats.

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

Experience in designing, developing, and QA testing Cisco Security products.

Strong knowledge of L4-L7 security protocols and their application in real-world scenarios.

Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and shell scripting for security product development.

Familiarity with the latest trends and advancements in network, endpoint, and cloud security.

Would Be a Plus

Experience with cloud-based security solutions and SaaS platforms.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
