Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for OCI Logging Analytics (LA) Ingestion service.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications in the LA Ingestion service. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

6+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Logging Analytics Cloud Service (part of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure aka OCI cloud) monitors, aggregates, indexes, and analyses all log data from customers applications and infrastructure – enabling users to search, explore, and correlate this data to troubleshoot problems faster, derive operational insight, and make better decisions. Role involves engineering to design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for cloud applications. As a senior member of the software engineering division, you will design and develop software for tasks associated with the product delivery.

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer science from a top tier college
2. Minimum of 6 years software engineering experience from product companies
3. Looking for one with strong analytical, problem solving and coding skills
4. Understand requirements and build applications working with cross functional teams
5. Hands on with Java, Data Structures/Algorithms, REST, Dropwizard, Spring boot, Microservice, System Design etc.
6. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs
7. Good knowledge and understanding in building highly scalable and available products
8. Review and provide feedback on product requirements and technical specifications
