As part of the Tech Team, you will work on designing, building and enhancing our in-house

tech-stack that powers our entire e-commerce business and includes systems enabling

Search, Customer Segmentation, Discounts, Order / Warehouse / Logistics Management,

Payments, Risk Analysis & KYC, Accounting & Invoicing, Personalised app-layouts &

recommendations, among others.

You will actively participate with the Product Management, UI/UX Design, Backend Dev, QA and

Data Analytics teams to solve challenging problems and build great end-user experiences

using your proficiency in Frontend Engineering and Low-level (Code) Design.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Own what you build: Take end-to-end ownership of building an application, right from modeling the problem-domain through to design, implementation, timely delivery and post-release stability

● Design and build applications for the iOS platform

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

● Unit-test code for robustness, usability and general reliability, keeping the app stable and secure at all times

● Work on bug-fixing and improving application performance

● Discover, evaluate and implement new technologies

● Designing and building advanced mobile features and custom UI

● Monitoring and optimizing the app for speed, memory, network and battery

Required Skill Set

● B.E / B.tech degree in Computer Science or equivalent. (Optional for talented

auto-didacts)

● 1 - 3 yrs of experience in iOS app development

● Proficiency in Swift / SwiftUI and Cocoa Touch

● Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles like MVVM

● Understanding of Apple's design principles, XCode, Instruments

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services

● Experience in integrating third party libraries and frameworks

● Knowledge of iOS-specific concepts like push-notifications, CPU & memory constraints.

● Experience in writing and maintaining unit-tests

● Proficiency in Git

● Good understanding of the full lifecycle of mobile development including testing,

publishing and maintenance

Good to have Skill Set

● Successful release of one or more iOS apps in the app store

● Experience in Android app development

● GitHub profile showcasing a list of original contributions

● Experience in Agile and tools like JIRA

● Willingness to participate in improving existing practices and processes
