Who will you be working with? This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager. In this exciting role as a Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a highly-interactive, data visualization and monitoring solution for our products. This is a rare opportunity to apply your experience, dedication and skills to a brand-new, cloud-first program that seeks to improve the safety and sustainability of our customers’ operations.

Where is the position located? This is Permanent full time position at Eagle Farm, Queensland

What will your typical day look like?

• Developing new user features using React and Typescript
• Build reusable components and libraries
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Write, audit, and maintain tests
• Collaborate with the passionate team of developers, UX designers, and product managers

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• More than 5 years of practical experience developing high-quality web solutions, with at least two years with React.
• Thorough understanding of React and associated toolkits/libraries (e.g. Redux).
• Strong proficiency in Typescript.
• Understanding of REST-style APIs and how these integrate into an application.
• Experience with modern front-end build pipeline and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies such as Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes is advantageous.
