Lead Golang Engineer - Contract

Sydney based, hybrid work

$1000 a day inc. super - 4-5 months initially with likely extension

Are you that person who likes to build something from scratch?

If so, we’re building a team to work on a brand new internal platform to serve as validation for new products for one of Australia’s unicorns. You’ll be creating an internal workflow to allow different teams to collaborate and make services reusable.

This is a lead role and you’ll be working closely with the Delivery Manager, the Solutions Architect and and a mid-level developer. You’ll be a experienced in Go and ideally have worked on workflows or rules engines before but aside from that, you’ll be an incredible technical translator and able to explain complex problems in layman's terms to non technical people.

This is a client facing role with lead responsibility but if you’re a strong senior looking to take the next step, this could be for you too.

If you have experience with Temporal that would be a huge bonus!

This role is hybrid, for the first few weeks there will be sometime on site but as the project develops the need to be in office will reduce and you can work as needed. However, understanding the value of face-time will be important.
