Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid Working)

Salary: $900 - $1000 per day + Super

Job Type: Part-Time 2-3 days per week. (One day per week onsite, 6-7 months duration).

About the Role:

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Project Manager to join a dynamic leading NSW state government organisation. The organisation is currently reviewing their existing evidence management system, which has been used for approximately 10 years. The role of the Project Manager is to scope the market for comparable software and coordinate a Proof of Concept (POC) based on the offerings in the market. This role requires engagement across a dedicated business unit to determine a fit-for-purpose alternative solution to the organisation's current evidence management system. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a scoping project to coordinate a POC for approximately six comparable software offerings in the market.
• Collaborate with the investigation team to evaluate and compare software solutions.
• Coordinate the POC process, ensuring that software evaluations are conducted sequentially.
• Engage with the investigations business unit to determine a fit-for-purpose alternative solution to the current evidence management system.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Facilitate the transition from POC to market engagement, including the preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Tender (RFT) documents.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and organisational policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the government or public sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Experience and knowledge of evidence management systems is required.
• Understanding of the NSW Government procurement process.
• Understanding of RFQ/RFT processes.
• Relevant qualifications in project management or a related field.
