About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Fullstack Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our digital auction and marketplace platform, working across the entire technology stack to deliver exceptional user experiences. This role combines frontend expertise with backend knowledge to create seamless, high-performance applications.

What You’ll be Doing:

-Design and implement full-stack features using Next.js, focusing on both client-side and server-side components

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and database schemas to support our auction platform

- Create responsive, performant user interfaces that meet our high standards for design and functionality

- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to architect solutions for complex business requirements

- Optimize application performance and implement caching strategies

- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring platform stability and reliability

- Contribute to technical documentation and API specifications

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of professional software development experience

- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation

- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Strong knowledge of web security best practices

- Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols

- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright)

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with GraphQL

- Knowledge of WebSocket implementations

- Experience with real-time bidding systems or e-commerce platforms

- Previous experience with auctions or marketplaces, or general e-commerce experience

- Knowledge of image optimization and CDN implementation

- Familiarity with payment processing systems

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog)

- Experience with error tracking tools (Sentry)

- Experience with serverless architecture and common patterns

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
