Your Role
Are you eager to kick off your career in cybersecurity and IT operations? Join our agile and international team as a Junior Systems Engineer! In this role, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of key security solutions, such as:
- Anti-Virus & Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) – Helping protect systems from threats.
- Enterprise-grade Proxy (Web Gateway) – Managing secure web access.
- Vulnerability Management – Identifying and mitigating security risks.
- Security KPIs – Monitoring and improving security performance. You will play a significant role in maintaining our business's security and compliance by supporting various stages of cybersecurity processes—from understanding solution implementation to assisting with ongoing maintenance. Working alongside experienced engineers, analysts, and internal teams, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in a global setting. - Support Systems Engineers in Cyber Security (CIRT, etc.) by assisting in data collection, analysis, and operationalization efforts.
- Work with data sources, including querying APIs and databases.
- Assist in building automation scripts to improve efficiency and security processes.
- Perform OS-level troubleshooting on Windows and Linux systems.
- Help document business cases, requirements, and exceptions where necessary.
- Assist in performing vulnerability and compliance scans and support remediation efforts.
- Basic knowledge of automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and administration concepts.
- Understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) and their basic internal workings.
- Familiarity with AV and EDR solutions is a plus.
- Interest or experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial.
- Exposure to vulnerability scanners and compliance tools is advantageous.
- Ability to document and explain technical details clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and security practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
