We are seeking a Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Minerals BA, Crushing BL, Mobile, and Midsize Product group.

You will be responsible for mechanical engineering for customer delivery projects which include HP, C-Jaw, Lokotrack, and Nordwheeler products. Your role plays a crucial part in the engineering team, positively impacting product group performance. In this position, you will report to the Engineering manager.

This position is located in Tampere, which is the hub of our engineering and management teams.

Team you belong to

We work closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as major mining companies globally, and close operations with Aggregates and Minerals organizations. The members of our team are located in Finland but more than 200 colleagues in Crushing BL worldwide.

What You’ll Do


  • Work in collaboration with the engineering team on customer delivery projects
  • Perform practical design work
  • Apply engineering knowledge, principles, and best practices to meet customer requirements and specifications
  • Create manufacturing and assembly stage documentation
  • Create layouts, general arrangements, and transport/lifting drawings


Who You Are


  • BSc. or MSc. degree in engineering.
  • Previous experience in technical design
  • Language skills in Finnish and English
  • Experience in NX and Teamcenter is beneficial
  • Ability to manage engineering work in multiple projects
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrical is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, where meeting deadlines and handling various tasks simultaneously is necessary.
