AZURE CLOUD SUPPORT ENGINEER

Working with my Finnish client I am seeking an Azure Cloud Support Engineer to join the team on a contract assignment which will run until the end of the year. Candidates need to be Finnish and English speaking and will be expected to work on site at the customer offices in Helsinki.

Tasks and responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer

• Technical tasks for service requests and incident management, level 2 & 3
• Supervision and monitoring
• Application consulting and other expert tasks
• Azure native component maintenance and monitoring
• Application management documentation, preparation/updating work and procedure instructions, and other documentation

The following skills and experience are expected from the Cloud Support Engineer

• Azure/cloud technology (PaaS), Azure SQL
• ITSM tool user experience
• Agile development (Scrum) principles and use of Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and applications in a cloud-native environment (.NET Core, Entra ID, Azure Managed Grafana, Azure Portal and Monitor, and Power BI)
• ITIL framework and related practices
• CI/CD pipeline principles
• Security for cloud-native environments
