After securing their UK banking license last year, they are now looking to provide direct-to-consumer services. As part of this initiative, they are building a UK mobile engineering team from scratch.

They are seeking a Senior and a Mid-level iOS Developer to join the team and work under an extremely experienced VP of Engineering with a background in mobile engineering.

Responsibilities for the Mid & Senior iOS Developer | Fintech, International Bank | Up to £100,000 | London Hybrid (2 Days):

• Lead the development and maintenance of our iOS applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high responsiveness and quality.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver a superior user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and reliability.

Requirements for the Mid & Senior iOS Developer | Fintech, International Bank | Up to £100,000 | London Hybrid (2 Days):

• Proven experience in iOS development using Swift.
• Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
• Experience with APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Knowledge of modern mobile architectures such as MVVM, MVP, or MVI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
