Test Development Engineer

We are looking for an Engineer for AKTUALISIERUNG AND TEST ACTIVITIES ON THE VEHICLES on site in Ingolstadt of an Automotive Premium

Specifications

• Knowledge of working model of AUDI and/or VW is nice to have;
• Advanced knowledge in diagnostic tools;
• General knowledge on 2D drawings and logical schematic;
• General knowledge on LIN, CAN, Flexray and optical network;
• General knowledge on laboratory tools (scope, tester,…)
• German (at least B2 Niveau) and English language is MANDATORY;
• Expertise on the activity is MANDATORY;
• European Driving Licence B is Mandatory
• Prototyping Driving Licence Cat. C is nice to have

Expected activities and deliverables can be resumed as follows:

• Update

1. The current hardware (HW)/software (SW) status of the vehicle must be recorded and compared with the specifications.
2. Total FSP (input) must be stored in the AVx (Workbench) to the vehicle
3. The HW parts (vehicle-related components) provided and listed in the AVx must be replaced
4. In the event of deviations from the HW status to the VR, feedback must be given to the client and documented in AVx vehicle-related.
5. The old HW goes back to the client
6. The immobilizer and the component protection are to be learned at FAZIT and functions on demand at Krypto.
7. The SW updates according to current VR (composite release) or separate network specifications (e.g. pre-integration statuses – called sprint) are to be carried out with iDEX / ODIS or developer tools
8. The ECUs must be coded and parameterized using the CP tool.
9. In the event of deviations from the specification calculated in the CP tool, feedback must be given to the customer and documented in AVx vehicle-related.

• Measurement

1. Installation of the holding devices for the measuring technology (if necessary)
2. Installation of the measurement technology
3. Post-cabling BUS taps
4. Connection of the measurement technology to the vehicle systems
5. Commissioning of measurement technology
6. Perform a functional test
7. Expansion of measurement technology and return to the client.

• Start Up (Inbetriebenahme)

1. Sensors and actuators must be trained accordingly.
2. Error memory entries in the ECUs must be analyzed and, if possible, corrected.
3. Calibration of THE FAS systems and headlamps shall be carried out.
4. Functions of the vehicle must be checked and documented by checkIT at the end of commissioning.
5. The current HW/SW status of the vehicle (FSP initial state) must be recorded and stored in the AVx (Workbench) for the vehicle.

• Test

1. The vehicle may be moved by the contractor on public roads if there is no secrecy for the vehicle.
2. Traces must taken using CANOE and VECTOR tools.
