Software Engineer

📍 Galway | 📄 12-Month Rolling Contract | Up to €350 per day (depending on experience)

We are looking for Software Engineers to join a dynamic and collaborative team developing high-quality applications for the financial industry. You will be working for an Asset Management company in Galway. They have won awards as being one of the best places to work and are known for having some of the best technology in the market.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (Oracle preferred).

✅ Contribute to UI development using Angular, JavaScript, or similar frameworks.

✅ Work with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, etc.) to ensure efficient delivery.

✅ Gain exposure to cloud technologies (AWS is a plus).

✅ Collaborate in an Agile environment, working closely with business and technical teams.

✅ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ 2+ years of experience in software development.

✔ Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.

✔ Experience working with relational databases and cloud environments.

✔ Exposure to front-end technologies like Angular or JavaScript.

✔ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a team-oriented mindset.
