Lead our IT strategy and digital transformation in the Baltics!

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and shape our IT strategy across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. This is a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation, ensure seamless IT operations, and align technology with our business needs while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
As the CIO, you will oversee IT strategy, governance, and execution across IKEA Baltics. You will lead IT operations, develop new technical solutions, ensure business alignment, and build strong partnerships across our markets. You will work closely with the regional manager and senior stakeholders to ensure IT is a strong enabler for business success.
What you will be doing as a Chief Information Officer (CIO)
• Develop and implement an IT strategy that supports IKEA Baltics’ vision and values
• Oversee IT operations, ensuring efficiency, security, and continuous improvement
• Establish and uphold IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and risk management
• Lead and develop IT teams, fostering a people-centric and high-performance culture
• Bridge IT and business strategies to enhance collaboration and innovation
• Manage IT budgets responsibly, focusing on efficiency and smart investments
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships and an effective IT sourcing strategy
• Shape a future-ready IT architecture that supports business growth and sustainability
• Uphold IKEA’s digital ethics and security standards to safeguard our data and systems
At IKEA we will love you from the first day, but we will adore you if you have:
• Proven experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a multinational environment;
• Ability to inspire and lead teams in a value-driven organization;
• Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, data management and risk management;
• Strong hands-on technical experience in IT infrastructure, IT governance process implementation and security systems from previous roles;
• Experience in driving digital transformation and aligning IT strategy with business needs;
• Experience with cloud-based IT company environments;
• AI and automation skills are a plus;
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Financial acumen with experience in IT budgeting and cost control;
• Agility, positive attitude and ability to make decisions in crisis situations;
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written (knowledge of a Baltic language is a plus).
