What will you do?

• Design and develop new software solutions and tools.
• Take ownership of all aspects of our software products, incl. architecture, quality and user experience.
• Analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
• Rigorously hunt down and fix bugs, even when others created them.
• Actively participate in technical discussions.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and designers to bring ideas to life.
• There is room to experiment with cutting-edge technologies and AI techniques.

What you need to bring

• At least 4 years’ work experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Good knowledge of writing SQL queries and working with ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework).
• Strong experience with Angular development.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and responsive design.
• Deep understanding of clean code principles and ability to write maintainable, testable, and reusable code.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, with tools: Azure DevOps and Bitbucket.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• You possess a problem-solving attitude with a constant eye on delivering the best quality.
• Thrives both independently and in a team, sharing knowledge and ideas freely.
• Living in The Netherlands with a valid work permit is a must.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with graphs Like Highcharts, Plotly and mapping libraries like Leaflet, OpenLayers, MapBox/MapLibre.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.
• Understanding of database queries and optimization with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Redis for caching or real-time data.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, and containerization with Docker.
• Experience with client testing frameworks such as Cypress.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems: Git.

With offices in Houten, Amsterdam and Kazakhstan, our international team is at the forefront of weather technology.

Our Tech Stack

We develop using a wide range of technologies, but most of our work is done in C#, .Net Core. Additionally, we do our web development using Angular, NextJS and React. Our core systems are written in C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core and Python, and are containerized using Docker and deployed to our Rancher cluster. We use a wide range of databases, each chosen to be the best for the job. These databases range from MYSQL, SQL Server, Postgres to Redis. For cloud services, we use both Azure and AWS for storage, databases and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring scalability and efficiency. We also develop mobile apps in house, both for iOS and Android.
