People Analytics Consultant


The People team leverages the knowledge, skills, and potential of eMAG colleagues to become the largest online retailer in Central and Eastern Europe.

The People Analytics Consultant will be part of an agile People Analytics & Tech team and will have the mission to grow People Analytics products through consultancy given to users & stakeholders, building deep-dive analyses, setting new flows, improving the existing flows, developing new reports and improving the existing ones.


@People Analytics & Tech we:


  • Grow engagement through analytics and development tools;
  • Understand the business needs and develop new people analytics reports, analyses, features and processes to address these needs;
  • Support the company business decisions and development with recurring people analytics reports, custom analyses, and insights;
  • Set workflows for integrations, data collection, ways of working and admin;
  • Develop Analytics Tools using QlikView, QlikSense, Python and Excel;
  • Act as owners of all technical and analytical products between an employee and his engagement;
  • Manage the Admin process of budgeting and contracting partners and providers;
  • Manage major Organizational development projects, like Employee Net Promoter Score and Performance;
  • Design the vision and integrate external or internal engagement, development, learning, feedback, and recognition tools pursuing a customized experience for our employees;
  • Define an online learning environment in our company;
  • Use an iterative mindset to build qualitative products faster;
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Work in an agile environment, with a focus on iterative development.


What you will do?


  • Manage People Analytics reports, flows & analyses with the purpose of delivering quality & useful data;
  • Build new People Analytics reports using data modeling software (Excel, QlikView, QlikSense, etc.), build flows & analyses and constantly improve the existing ones, with the purpose of delivering better experience with our products, to our internal customers;
  • Define the rules for calculating new KPIs & the rules of updating recurrent reports, with the focus on optimizing update-time;
  • Build analyses for recurring reports & ad-hoc requested reports;
  • Offer consultancy & support to internal customers & stakeholders regarding the managed areas of expertise;
  • Deeply understand the needs of internal customers, regarding the managed areas of expertise;
  • Maintain a good collaboration with other departments you will work with;
  • Understand business development directions and work with your colleagues in that direction.
  • Work with the Admin process of budgeting and contracting partners and providers.


What you must have?


  • Drive for data, quality, processes, and results;
  • Drive to build and improve analytical products;
  • High level of attention and good self-organizing skills;
  • KPIs setting & improving experience;
  • Good communication, negotiation & collaboration skills;
  • Experience with MS Excel;
  • Proactive attitude;
  • Team player attitude;
  • Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment;
  • Would be a plus:
  • experience with QlikView / QlikSense.
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar job or in consulting.
