WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Product Manager within our jersey & fleece team at the Stockholm head office, you will contribute to the development of high-end quality collections for jersey & fleece product category in line with company standards and business goals for quality, cost, sustainability and delivery. As well to ensure smooth and thorough handover between development and production. This is a temporary employment of 6 months to support during a study leave.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Product Manager within our jersey & fleece team at the Stockholm head office, you will contribute to the development of high-end quality collections for jersey & fleece product category in line with company standards and business goals for quality, cost, sustainability and delivery. As well to ensure smooth and thorough handover between development and production. This is a temporary employment of 6 months to support during a study leave.
You will play a vital role by:
- Manage development critical path from initial design through to pre-production fittings within the allocated delivery window
- Source and research materials according to design- and collection brief and actively work to reach sustainability targets
- Attend development and production fittings, provide proactive and focused input on quality and fit
- Manage the costing process and analysis of margins, aligning negotiation strategies with senior product manager
- Allocate styles among factories ensuring make standards and target prices
- Maintain bill of materials (BOM) and product information in internal system PLM
- Monitor and respect seasonal development budget
- Partner with suppliers and communicate on day-to-day operations, including on-site visits
- Maintain balanced communication and good working process with cross functional partners to meet all product requirements

Specific personal qualities for this role:
- Cooperative and creative problem solver
- Organized, proactive approach with strong follow-through
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and with suppliers
- Academic degree, from fashion and/or textile education
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within product development preferably from high-end fashion brands
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of PLM is a merit
- Good costing and negotiating skills
