Data & Analytics Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Data & Analytics Developer at a Senior Level to join a project for a well-known client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft SQL, Python, and Power BI, as well as a strong understanding of data integration, storage in a Lakehouse architecture, and dimensional modelling for data warehouse workloads. The role requires a hands-on approach from the early stages of solution design through to development, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement customized analytics solutions using MS SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient Power BI solutions.
• Administer and manage the Power BI environment, including data modelling, customization, and configuration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for Microsoft Fabric applications, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Develop data transformations in Jupyter notebooks, leveraging Azure Data Factory and MS Fabric.
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, including ideation, requirements gathering, functional design, estimation, planning, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Fabric, including data integration and modelling.
• Extensive experience in developing data analytics solutions using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft products integration.
• Ability to build proof of concept and demos.

Admission and Application

This is a full-time position with office hours. The client intends to begin the assignment on March 10th, 2025, with the duration expected to last until May 31st, 2025, with a possibility of extension. You will be employed by JobBusters as a consultant, working with our exciting client.
