Reporting Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to join our Digital & IT team at IONWAY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end process to deliver business relevant reporting, starting with the requirements gathering through to the delivery of reports based on Microsoft PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Critically analyze and challenge business requirements to understand the real needs.
• Translate business needs into documented data models by identifying underlying systems and data fields.
• Create visually powerful and insightful PowerBI reports.
• Collaborate with the corporate IS team to define additional data pipelines when data is not available in the data lake.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and data models.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and methodologies.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in PowerBI and data modelling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data lakes and data pipeline development.
• Familiarity with corporate IS systems and processes.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and other data manipulation languages.
