Job Opportunity: Java Developer

Role Overview:

We are developing an in-house platform that supports all key functions of FX Trading, including pricing, booking, routing, risk management, and valuations. Our goal is to replace a vendor platform entirely. To date, we have executed over 15,000 releases, successfully building our PTS and phasing out the vendor platform across all trading sites.

Location: Cracow or Warsaw, hybrid model (office visits 2 times per week)

Responsibilities:

By joining us, you will:

• Develop clean, efficient, and elegant Java code
• Work on a microservices-based architecture
• Monitor and maintain production system stability
• Handle Foreign Exchange business requirements

Your Daily Tasks:

You and your team will be responsible for all aspects of software delivery, including:

• Development and implementation
• Automating testing and deployment through small, frequent releases
• Collaborating with product owners and business teams to define features and requirements
• Ensuring production availability—if you build a service, you own it

Requirements:

• Passion for technology with a strong ability to learn and innovate
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to dynamic challenges
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Java 17+ (Concurrency, data structures, lock-free/wait-free code, low latency, lambdas)
• Experience working in agile teams
• Familiarity with TDD, continuous integration, jUnit, continuous deployment, and testing
• Knowledge of REST and messaging technologies
• Understanding of DevOps practices
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
