System Architect / Team Leader - 1 Year Contract - Dubai

We are looking for System Architect / Team Leader in Dubai.

Below is the job description: -

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end revamp of a government e-services website and mobile application in the UAE.
• Design secure, scalable architectures compliant with UAE government standards
• Manage a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and UX/UI designers (5–10 members).
• Modernize legacy systems using cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices is a plus.
• Collaborate with UAE government stakeholders to align solutions with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to UAE cybersecurity guidelines and national digital service frameworks.
• Oversee Agile/Scrum processes, sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Jenkins).
• Implement identity management systems (OAuth, SAML) and audit logging for compliance.
• Optimize performance, uptime, and disaster recovery for high-traffic government portals.

Key Skills:

• Strong expertise in backend (Node.js/Java/.NET), frontend (React/Angular), and mobile frameworks (Flutter/React Native).
• Experience with UAE e-services platforms (e.g., DubaiNow, UAE PASS, Smart Dubai initiatives).

Qualification & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience, including at least 2 UAE/GCC government digital projects.
• Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science or related field; certifications (TOGAF, CISSP, PMP) a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written in Arabic.
