UI/UX Designer

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for crafting user-centered designs to enhance the user experience on Modon’s digital channels. You will translate business requirements and user needs into engaging, visually appealing designs, creating a seamless user experience.

The role is responsible for ensuring Modon’s websites and mobile app designs are intuitive, accessible, optimized for user satisfaction and fully aligned with branding guidelines and digital design system.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or experience in related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for websites, and mobile apps
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Experience with web performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-platform compatibility.

Competencies:

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties

Design and Development:

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that improve user interaction and engagement.
• Develop prototypes and conduct usability tests to refine user experiences.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and content teams, to align designs with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Partner with developers to ensure the successful implementation of UI designs.

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user behavior, needs, and pain points.
• Analyze and benchmark industry trends and competitors to ensure designs remain innovative and relevant.

Optimization:

• Continuously improve website design based on analytics, feedback, and emerging trends.
• Ensure websites are optimized for both desktop and mobile experiences.

Brand Alignment:

• Maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital platforms in line with corporate branding.
• Design assets for corporate and event-related digital campaigns, including banners, icons, and landing pages.

Accessibility and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.
• Test designs across browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure optimal functionality.
