Engineer - ML QA

As an Engineer - Quality Assurance at Inception, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive QA strategies, leading testing efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The opportunity

The Engineer - Quality Assurance is a technical role focused on leading QA efforts and ensuring the integrity of products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role involves working closely with development, product management, and other teams to establish and execute QA plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Your key responsibilities

As an Engineer - Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for overseeing the QA processes to ensure products meet the highest quality standards. Your role will encompass a range of activities focused on QA strategy, testing, and collaboration.

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans.
• Define testing methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure QA processes align with business goals and strategic objectives.
• Lead the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues to resolution.
• Work closely with development, product management, and other teams to understand requirements and ensure QA coverage.
• Communicate QA strategies, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test cases, and results.
• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  
  
  

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing QA practices in a complex environment.
• Experience with QA tools and technologies (e.g., automated testing frameworks, performance testing tools).
  
  
  

To qualify for the role you must have

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in QA tools and technologies (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, Jmeter, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in Python libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Seaborn
• Prior experience of data validation/ETL testing and SQL.
• Experience in Cloud technologies like Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
