I'm currently looking for a Senior Project Planner for one of our key clients in Oslo.

Position Overview
They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join the team in Oslo. As a key part of the project management function, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely execution, and supporting project teams with planning expertise. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and experience in complex industrial or infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or other planning tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
- Perform risk analysis and scenario planning to identify potential project delays and propose mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress, analyze deviations, and provide reports to management and clients.
- Support resource allocation planning to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure project planning aligns with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply chain activities with project schedules.
- Prepare and present planning reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project planning, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other planning tools.
- Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience working in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English is required; Norwegian is an advantage.
- Has to be EU citizenship
