Job Description

Lead the development and optimization of payment systems for a leading bank.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions

Analyze and implement regulatory requirements to ensure compliance

Drive innovation in payment processing to enhance customer experience

Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Design, implement, and enhance payment processing systems including RTGS, ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, and instant payment solution

Manage and optimize card payment systems (Visa, Mastercard, EMV), mobile wallets, and POS/ATM network.

Develop and integrate Open Banking APIs and fintech payment solutions.

Support cross-border payments, digital transactions, and blockchain-based payment innovations.

Lead payment system upgrades, integrations, and automation for core banking platforms (e.g., Temenos T24, Finacle, Flexcube, Profile, etc.

).Collaborate with IT teams to enhance cloud-based, API-driven, and AI-powered payment solution

Optimize transaction processing speed, scalability, and reliability for high-volume payments

Troubleshoot and resolve payment system issues, ensuring minimal downtime

Qualification Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Banking, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in payment systems, banking technology, or financial services IT.

Expertise in payment gateways, transaction processing, and digital banking solutions.

Strong understanding of financial messaging standards (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, SEPA, FAST, NACH, etc.).

Hands-on experience with payment system architecture, APIs, and microservices.

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, C#, SQL) for payment system customization.

Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for payment infrastructure modernization.

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools in banking environments.
