API & Integration Specialist and Cybersecurity & Compliance Specialist

GLOBNET is seeking qualified candidates to provide technical oversight and security assurance for the implementation of a prestigious Government IT Platform project. The project requires experts in API Integration, Cybersecurity Compliance, and Software Engineering to ensure the platform is developed securely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

The candidates will provide services in the following three categories:

1. API & Integration Specialist

2. Cybersecurity & Compliance Expert

3. Lead Software Engineer

Each role has defined responsibilities and deliverables as outlined below.

1. API & Integration Specialist

Scope of Work

* Design, develop, and manage API architecture for integration with government systems.

* Ensure seamless integration between various stakeholders.

* Implement API security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS).

* Optimize API performance and ensure high availability & scalability.

* Work closely with software developers to integrate third-party services and databases.

Required Expertise

* 5+ years of experience in API design & development.

* Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, WebSockets.

* Experience with API gateways (Apigee, Kong, WSO2, AWS API Gateway).

* Expertise in API security, authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).

Deliverables

1. API architecture design and documentation.

2. Fully functional integration with stakeholder systems.

3. API performance optimization and monitoring plan.

4. Security audit report on API vulnerabilities and remediation.

2. Cybersecurity & Compliance Expert

Scope of Work

* Conduct a security risk assessment for the Stakeholder platform.

* Implement Omani cybersecurity regulations, ISO 27001, and other industry specific compliance standards.

* Perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk mitigation.

* Ensure data encryption and access control policies meet government requirements.

* Develop a cyber incident response plan for system security breaches.

* Establish security monitoring for threat detection and prevention.

Required Expertise

* 7+ years in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

* Certified CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor preferred.

* Strong understanding of NIST, OWASP, GDPR, and Omani Cybersecurity Law.

* Experience in penetration testing, SIEM, firewalls, and cloud security.

* Familiarity with security for industry and government platforms.

Deliverables

1. Comprehensive security risk assessment report.

2. Implementation of encryption, firewall, and security controls.

3. Penetration testing results & remediation strategy.

4. Development of cybersecurity policies & compliance framework.
