We invite a Middle Node.js Engineer to join the VeliPlay product team.

Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specialising in crafting exceptional crash games and more. We’re committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives.

In this role, you will:

• Engine Development: Develop and maintain a high-performance and resilient game engine for crash games, ensuring scalability to meet growing demands
• System Observability: Work on enhancing the observability of our systems through effective monitoring and logging solutions to identify and address potential issues proactively
• Reporting Solution: Design and implement a reporting solution that provides valuable insights into game performance and player behavior
• Innovation: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and invent unique and engaging game features that captivate players and set our games apart
• Integration: Seamlessly integrate our games with third-party platforms, ensuring a smooth and cohesive player experience
  
  

Skills and experience you will need:

• At least 2+ years of work experience with Node.js (Nest.js)
• At least 2+ years of work experience with TypeScript
• Understanding of design patterns and clean architecture
• Basic knowledge of AWS (ECS, Fargate, lambda, Serverless)
• Experience in working with: Docker, Gitlab CI, Redis
• Experience with relational database design
• Experience in system design
