What We’re Looking For

✔ 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.

✔ Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or other design tools.

✔ Understanding of usability, accessibility, and user research.

✔ Ability to work independently and communicate design ideas effectively.

✔ Experience with WordPress, Wix, and Donorbox customization.

✔ Knowledge of CSS/HTML for minor design tweaks (a plus).

Responsibilities

Your Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you will enhance our website’s usability, accessibility, and visual appeal to ensure a seamless experience for donors, volunteers, and aid recipients.

What You’ll Do

✔ Research UI/UX best practices from other nonprofit websites.

✔ Propose & implement design improvements for our WordPress, Wix, and Donorbox platforms.

✔ Optimize the user journey to increase engagement and usability.

✔ Ensure consistency in branding, accessibility, and responsive design.

✔ Collaborate with the Website Project Manager to refine design concepts.

Would be a plus

- Experience with WordPress, Wix, and Donorbox customization.

- Knowledge of CSS/HTML for minor design tweaks.

Working terms

Volunteer role (unpaid).

Remote work with flexible collaboration via Slack and Asana.

Reports to the Website Project Manager.
