Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the integration of software components and third-party libraries.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
  • Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a developer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
