£40K - 45K + Bonus + Bens

Speciality reinsurance underwriter is looking to add a Graduate Software Developer / Junior Developer to their MIS & Applications team in the City.

Working as part of a small team of 6, this role offers you the chance to build and maintain specialist industry applications, reporting solutions and vendor managed apps.

Solid ‘OO’ and SQL experience is a must – if C# is your language of choice great, but if your experience if more Java/Python/C++ biased that’s fine as well. Just be aware that this is a Microsoft environment.

Academically we’d prefer those who have studied Comp Sci or Computing but might also consider those with a Maths or DS background who have some commercial programming experience.

Given that this position works closely with business users, someone with good communication skills and energy would fit well.

Lots of training on offer and opportunity to progress along with some international travel if you want it.
