Information Analyst

460degrees are looking for an Information Analyst to work on a contract for out client in Melbourne.

Location: Melbourne based, hybrid in nature

Duration: 12 months

Role: Information Analyst

Duties Include:

• Support and troubleshoot issues with Teams and SharePoint:
• Assist users to use metadata
• Assist with appropriate file naming conventions
• Publishing files in appropriate locations
• Understanding Teams channel limitations
• Provision user access in Teams/SharePoint site collections
• Obtain approval from Site Owners
• Compliance checking - ensure users have completed declaration forms
• Access for new starters and contractors
• Review access permissions frequently
• Export and analyse Teams and SharePoint permission reports and work with owners to review access
• Offboarding of contractors/ employees/ staff as required that have completed work engagements
• Create sites/channels aligned to client's records management and collaboration criteria
• Review Information Management supporting materials including procedures, training guides etc
• File and scan physical mail received to client's work address

Core capabilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable experience using SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to learn new applications and team processes
• Understanding of Information Management and Records and Record keeping practices
• Knowledge of Victorian State Government standards (PROV) - good to have
