We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strategic and analytical mindset, along with a keen eye for detail and structure, to join our team in the Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) business unit at Tietoevry in Bergen.

FCP delivers a comprehensive set of services covering identity, fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering (AML) to prevent criminal activities in the financial sector and enable customers to comply with regulations, standards, and internal risk assessments. FCP consists of 150 employees, predominantly based in Norway and Sweden, and aims to expand into other European countries.

The Role of Business Analyst in Tietoevry Financial Crime Prevention:

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of our dynamic, autonomous, and cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in analyzing business processes, creating flowcharts, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing business plans. Our teams are responsible for various functionalities within services such as Identity Proofing, authentication services, and electronic signing services. You will work closely with developers, business teams in both Tietoevry and our clients, as well as other stakeholders to prepare clear and understandable specifications. Your work will be conducted in both Norwegian and English, in written and spoken forms. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our solutions meet customer requirements and maintain high security and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of products, business processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Prepare specifications and documentation that are clear and understandable for both business and development teams.
  • Ensure excellent customer experiences by balancing business needs with technical solutions.
  • Maintain security and quality in line with applicable standards.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance to ensure that solutions meet documented requirements.
  • Validate the product against business requirements post-implementation.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.


Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of documented experience as a business analyst or similar role focusing on business process analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with requirements specification and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work well in teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe framework is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Identity Proofing (IDV), authentication services, and electronic signing services is an advantage.
