Senior BI Data Analyst

pawaTech is looking for a Senior BI Data Analyst with a strong commitment to teamwork and a collaborative mindset. You will be part of the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while developing tools to support internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will work closely with finance and compliance teams, provide actionable insights, and contribute to reporting processes for country-level operations as we expand into new markets.

You will work on:

• Ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting;
• Develop reporting tools for external stakeholders like regulators and tax authorities;
• Support financial audits with accurate data;
• Collaborate with finance compliance and data warehouse teams;
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business and financial decisions;
• Build and maintain dashboards and data visualisations to communicate insights effectively;
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, ensuring data-driven decision-making;
• Perform quality checks and deliver country-level financial reporting as we expand.

Key skills and experience for this role:

• At least 5 years of experience working in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field;
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation;
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI;
• Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis;
• Basic understanding of finance or financial reporting (beneficial);
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (Mathematics, Business, Engineering, and any scientific field with data handling);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Familiarity with ClickHouse is beneficial.
