Senior ML Engineer

Team

The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile industry. 

Within the Data team, you’ll join the Ad-Network Team which is an autonomous squad of around 30 people.  The team is composed of top-tier software engineers, infrastructure engineers, data engineers, mobile engineers, and data scientists (among which 3 Kaggle Masters). The goal of this team is to provide a way for Voodoo to monetize our inventory directly with advertising partners, and relies on advanced technological solutions to optimize advertising in a real-time bidding environment. It is a strategic topic with significant impact on the business.

• Develop and maintain a CI/CD framework for model training, validation, and deployment;
• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable ML systems, incorporating A/B testing for continuous improvement;
• Optimize ML models for production, ensuring high throughput, low latency, and cost efficiency while maintaining system resilience;
• Implement robust monitoring for model performance, accuracy, and latency, proactively tracking concept drift and data drift using monitoring tools;
• Work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with teams across back-end development, data science, mobile games, large-scale mobile apps, product, and marketing to drive impactful ML solutions.

• 5/6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or another similar role (excluding internships)
• ML Model Deployment at Scale: Experience with ML inference at high RPS
• CI/CD for ML: Automating model training, testing, deployment workflows
• Monitoring & Observability: Both infra and model performance
• Strong Python Skills: For scripting and ML pipeline orchestration
• Optimization for Low-Latency Inference: Quantization, model distillation, or hardware acceleration

• ML Framework: AWS SageMaker, Lambda for serverless ML, or custom model servers
• Experience with Ad Tech: Realtime Bidding Systems: Understanding latency constraints in RTB environments
• Advanced ML Workflows: Feature stores, model versioning, and A/B testing for ML models
• GRPC for ML APIs: Efficient communication between microservices
• Infrastructure as Code: K8S (custom operators, Helm), Terraform for AWS resources
